Oak

I notice small details of our world: an oak leaf, twig, lichen, acorn, bark.

Whilst at UWE doing a printmaking MA, I used an environmental scanning electron microscope (ESEM) to zoom in on tiny pieces and create images to see more than the naked eye. Some are magnified thousands of times revealing their unique characteristics and patterns.

I have used some of these images to form my artist book Oak.
